Reviewing an International Organisation’s Strategic Objective and Achievement
Consulting Project | 30 September 2023
Context
An international organisation hired Christian to synthesise large-N financial resources data reported by their member states.
Role
Christian drew on his experience of international organisations from 1.5 years of independently studying them at the University of Glasgow. Using knowledge of data analytics, Christian assesses the share of resource allocation between regions of the world. He provided recommendations, including visualising the data into well-presenting graphs.
After the data analytics task, Christian built an assessment methodology to measure the future needs of the organisation’s member states. In particular, the extent to which the organisation needs to improve funding for future global development projects.
Outcome
Christian’s client used his recommendations to call donors for better resource allocation at their quadrennial international summit in 2023.
